Who We Are
XL Benefits is a stop-loss insurance advisory firm founded in July 2014 by Daron Pitts. We specialize in providing expert guidance and innovative interactive tools designed exclusively for insurance brokers navigating the complex world of stop-loss insurance and self-funding.
With a team of 6 dedicated specialists and relationships with over 25 A-rated insurance carriers, we serve insurance brokers and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) nationwide. Our broker-first philosophy means we have no carrier conflicts and our loyalty is always to the brokers we serve.
Since our founding, we've built a reputation for white-glove service, deep market expertise, and a commitment to making the stop-loss experience simpler and more successful for our broker partners.

Jennifer joined XL Benefits in May 2023, bringing over 20 years of experience as a TPA professional, employee benefits broker, and stop-loss consultant. She specializes in serving the East Coast market.
